Supported iOS versions

Ambient currently supports the following versions of iOS:

• iOS 18
• iOS 17

If you are running a previous version of iOS, please update to the latest version. 

iPhone Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities

For Ambient Home (iOS) to work properly with Level Doorbells, you must have NFC capabilities. Every iPhone since the iPhone 6 has NFC.

Supported Android versions

Ambient currently supports the following versions of Android:

• Android 15
• Android 14
• Android 13

If you are running a previous version of Android, please update to the latest version. 

Android NFC capabilities

For Ambient Home (Android) to work properly with Level Doorbells, you must have NFC capabilities. Androids with NFC capabilities:

• Samsung Galaxy models X4 and newer
• All Google Pixel phones

To find out if your phone supports NFC, take the following steps:

• Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences
• Turn NFC “on”
  • Note: If you don’t see an option to turn NFC “on,” your phone does not support NFC.
