Trouble adding or deleting a door code

If you're having trouble adding or deleting a door code, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Confirm the door code is no longer "Pending "
  2. Check your lock batteries
  3. Check your Level Hub or Bridge connection

1. Confirm the door code is no longer "Pending"

When you add or delete a door code, it will appear as "Pending" in the app until the app confirms the code is set. You won't be able to modify a door code until it's no longer pending.

2. Check your lock batteries

Your lock uses AA batteries, which need to be healthy for your lock to add or delete door codes. See Lock batteries.

3. Check your Level Hub or Bridge connection

Your apartment lock is linked to the Level network through a Level Hub or Level Bridge. The Hub or Bridge must be connected for you to add or delete door codes. See Level Hub or Bridge connection.
