Locking the KONOz thermostat

There are two levels of user interface locking.

1. When the keypad lock is set to Level 1, the rotary control will function, but no buttons will function from the home screen.
   1. Residents can still modify their set temperature, but cannot change the mode.
2. When the keypad lock is set to Level 2, the rotary and button controls will not function, as the device will remain on its home screen.

Disabling the lock

Level 2 can be enabled and disabled on the KONOz thermostat.

To enable the lock:

1. Press the “Enter” button. The backlight will illuminate and display the home screen.
2. Hold the “Enter” button for 10 seconds.
3. After 10 seconds, the thermostat will return to “Lock off.”
