1. What is Ambient Home?

Ambient Home is your new smart apartment app. It looks just like the Level Home app and includes all of the same features you’re already used to. New features and improvements will only be available through Ambient Home moving forward.

2. Why upgrade to Ambient Home?

Install the Ambient app to continue using your smart home. You may continue to use your existing login information, recovery key, and pin code. New features and improvements will only be available through Ambient Home. 

3. How do I upgrade to Ambient Home?

The Ambient Home app is the same, familiar app you are used to. Downloading the Ambient Home app allows us to build a better experience for you moving forward. Use the links below and sign in with the same username and password you use for Level Home.

4. What if I've forgotten my username or password?

If you have forgotten your username and password, see Trouble signing in to Ambient.

5. “No Access” message when logging into the Ambient Home app

If you receive a “No Access” error message when logging into your existing account on the Ambient Home app, there are several reasons as to why this might happen:

  • You are signed in with valid credentials, but don't currently have access to a community.
  • The account linking to the Ambient Home app failed.
  • You may still be logged into the Level Home app with the same credentials.

To self-troubleshoot this issue:

  • Verify that you are using the same login credentials you use for the Level Home app.
  • Ensure that you have access to the community with your property staff.
  • Sign out of the Level Home app.
  • Delete the Level Home app.
  • Force close and re-open the Ambient Home app.
  • Delete the Ambient Home app and follow the Level Home in-app link or email you received to download the Ambient Home app from the app store, and re-attempt login.
